Maps
This bibliography emphasizes the reference tools in
the John C. Pace Library that are concerned with the history of cartography and that
help the researcher to locate and identify a particular map. The atlases presented
in this bibliography may be found, along with hundreds of other contemporary atlases,
in the atlas collection at the end of the Government Documents section on the first
floor. Contemporary sheet maps are shelved in map cases in the Reference Department
as well as in the map room in the basement. Antiquarian map reproductions may be
found in the Special Collections Department.
